Abstract

Site 20 in Maków was studied by Lindner, who published his research results in 1937. According to his interpretation, some of the artefacts found at this site date to the early stage of the Middle-Polish Glaciation. Analysis of the profile does not support the assumption of such an age for the described artefacts. The gravel pit profile reveals two levels of structures, including congelifluction, involution, and crevasses. The upper level, which should be associated with the zone where the artefacts occur, corresponds to the last glaciation.
