The paper describes the influence of periglacial cover deposits upon agrophysical properties of geocomplexes. The role of silt particles contained in the covers in the formation of aeration and moisture conditions of deposits has been illustrated with the results of laboratory analyses of the samples taken from seven documentation sites located in the middle part of the Pilica river basin.
