In the loess near Bodzechów, east of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, there are two levels of fossil soil. The lower level should be considered primary, whereas the upper one is displaced by congelifluction. The presence of fossil soil embedded in the loess by periglacial mass movements, along with the characteristics of the loess itself, indicates a significant role of slope processes in the accumulation of the Bodzechów loess.
