Stratigraphy of cryoturbate structures in the Würm-age deposits in the southern part of the Dorohucza basin (Lublin Upland)

Approximately 70 occurrences of cryoturbation structures have been identified in the Dorohucza area (Lublin Upland), primarily within Würmian deposits, particularly in the upper layers of loess and sands. The most common forms include involutions, congelifluction structures and ice wedges, all indicative of former periglacial conditions. Their distribution and morphology suggest that during the Last Glacial Maximum, the region was situated within the tundra subzone of permafrost, with significant sedimentary and erosional changes during the last glacial period.
