Pleistocene periglacial structures in the Ebro terraces near Zaragoza

In van Zuidam's paper "Periglacial-like features in the Zaragoza region, Spain" (1976a) there appeared a sceptical opinion on the authenticity of periglacial structures being investigated by Brosche (1971 b) in the Ebro basin. In order to elucidate this problem the present author had carried out new investigations which led him to the conclusion that all exarnined structures are periglacial ones. Such a conclusion is based on the results of experimental work made by Polish geographers and A. Pissart (1970) as well as the researches conducted by Rohdenburg and Meyer (1969).
