Information For Authors
ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES
The journal follows the diamond open access model. This means that:
- publishing in the journal is free of charge for authors,
- the journal does not charge submission fees, peer-review or editorial fees, nor article processing charges (APC),
- all published content is freely accessible to readers worldwide.
The costs of running the journal (including the maintenance of the OJS publishing system, editorial services, DOI assignment, and digital archiving) are covered by:
- the Łódź Scientific Society as the publisher,
- ministerial grants and programmes supporting scholarly and publishing activities,
- partner institutions – primarily the University of Łódź and other academic centres that support the development and dissemination of the journal.
PLAGIARISM CHECKING
Manuscripts are subject to plagiarism checking. Journal editors use Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) to ensure the originality of submissions.
SUBMISSIONS
In view of the monographic character of each issue of the journal, please contact the assistant editor (Paulina Sztabińska, p_sztabinska@op.pl ) for information on the subject of the currently prepared volume.
The subject of each issue is decided in January of each year. The submissions in English, including key words and abstracts in Polish and English and a biographical note in English are accepted until 31st of July. We suggest that you notify us earlier of your intention to submit your paper, sending its title and a short abstract. This will be the basis for the preliminary selection of the articles.
