Peer-review process

1. Each article, after the initial assessment  made by the "Electoral Studies"  editor-in-chief  is forwarded to two independent domestic or foreign reviewers.
2. Reviews are anonymous, reviewers do not know the name of the author of the text.
3. Reviewer assess:
- Importance of the topic
- The actual state of research on this topic
- Clarity and completeness of argument2
- The correctness of the legal analysis
- The use of literature
- The formal aspect of the text, including the correctness of legal language
4.The article is published in case of receiving two positive reviews. If necessary, comments made by the reviewers are presented to the author (authors) to refer to them, or make appropriate changes and additions.
