Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx format)
  • If available, DOI (if not provided with a URL) for references should be provided.
  • Space (spacing between lines) should be 2 lines; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Studies and articles cannot be devided into more than 3 chapters.

Author Guidelines

1. The maximum volume of texts, including spaces, is:
a) studium - from 60 000 to 120 000 characters (1.5-3 publishing sheets)
b) article - up to 60 000 characters (up to 1.5 publishing sheets)
c) reviews - from 12 000 up to 24 000 characters (0.3-0.6 publishing sheets)
d) note - from 4 000 up to 12 000 characters (0.1-0.3 publishing sheets)
e) gloss - from 12 000 to 24 000 characters (0.3-0.6 publishing sheets).

2. Space (spacing between lines) should be 2 lines.

3. Studies and articles cannot be devided into more than 3 chapters.

4. Italic can only be used for the foreign language terms. Boldings and underscores are not allowed. In order to draw the reader’s attention to some particular part, we use s p a c i n g s i n t h e w o r d s.

5. All citations must be enclosed in quotation marks.

6. Names in voked for the first time in the text should be preceded by the full name.

7. Gloss should be precceded by the sentence of the jugdement , composed in italics.

8. Please ensure that the footnotes and the bibliographical references conform to the guidelines set in the Chicago Manual of Style (online at http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html)

9. Articles need to be annotated at the bottom of the relevant pages and that needs to include complete bibliography in alphabetical order, set out after the main text.

10. At the end of the article there must be a summary and key words both in Polish and English (also the title of the article in English).
