Belt sets with images of eagles in the Scythian funerary rite of the early period (7th-5th centuries BC (semantics and functions)

Pomimo skali i różnorodności osiągnięć współczesnych studiów scytyjskich, problem rekonstrukcji światopoglądu i idei religijnych nosicieli kultury scytyjskiej, zwłaszcza tych związanych z ich eschatologią, jest nadal aktualny. W kontekście powyższego nadal istotny jest problem semiotycznej rekonstrukcji i przeznaczenia funkcjonalnego przedmiotów, które towarzyszyły Scytom w zaświaty, wyjaśnienia ich miejsca oraz semantyki scytyjskich obrzędów pogrzebowych. Zestawy pasów z leżącymi na nich tabliczkami w kształcie orłów, które odkrywano w pochówkach scytyjskich od VII do V wieku p.n.e. w północnym regionie Morza Czarnego, nie są wyjątkiem.
